About Sam Baisden Memorial Sports Field - Cornerstone

Sam Baisden, age 25, died suddenly in Feb 2018 of a tragic accident at his home in Kingwood, TX. He was the son of Barry and Leslie Baisden of Kingwood, and the brother of Jacob. Barry previously served as the US Board Chairman of Naomi’s Village from 2015 -2017. Sam was the nephew of Naomi’s Village Founders Bob and Julie Mendonsa.  Sam starred in high school baseball and ran track in Kingwood. His family has decided to construct and dedicate a sports field with a track at our school to honor his memory. A $40,000 matching donation has recently been offered! All donations will be matched, dollar for dollar, until the total of $80,000 is reached. Your gift will help with grading, field surface preparation, planting of grass, installation of a track, and construction of concrete bleachers and signage.
